![]() Be sure to make a reservation before you go! This is the second Hall’s Chophouse - the first is located in Charleston. The beef filets melt in your mouth, and the bread pudding, with macerated cherries and brandy cream, is sinfully delicious. I think Hall’s is one of the best restaurants in Greenville SC, and its somewhat pricey menu is well worth it. Every meal at Tupelo Honey starts with a dense, buttery biscuit that you can top with honey and blueberry jam - I still think about these indulgent biscuits. Tupelo Honey Cafeįor some delicious southern cooking, go to Tupelo Honey Cafe. I’ve been to Jianna several times, and it’s been great every time - I like the ricotta crostini to start and any of the homemade pasta dishes for my main course! Check out the website for the complete menu and for reservations. If the weather is nice, sit outside to enjoy views of Main Street and Falls Park. But even that didn't take away from the fun of hearing patrons cheer for South Carolina, the delicious food, and the excellent service from Marshall.Jianna is one of the newer additions to the Greenville food scene on this list, and it has been a very popular choice for dinner since its opening a couple of years ago! Jianna is a modern Italian restaurant, and they make pasta fresh every day. It was pretty loud, gross, and definitely unsanitary. Fortunately, I was finished eating by that time and about to pay my check. Not once did either of them cover their mouths and even the people sitting at the table with them turned their heads. The only downside was that there were a couple of older men at separate tables who were sneezing and coughing with their mouths wide open. Thanks Marshall for the suggestion and for the friendly service. The lobster was delicious and very well seasoned but not overly seasoned where you lost the taste. That's how good everything tasted and it was just enough so that I wasn't stuffed. Great suggestion! I had coleslaw and potato salad instead of fries. Marshall suggested The Greggah, a lobster roll served on a toasted split bun with a side of sauce. I couldn't decide between the crab legs, oysters, or the lobster. Everyone was watching the Notre Dame/South Carolina game so the place was definitely lively. This restaurant/bar wasn't too crowded so Marshall welcome me in and I was able to get a table right away.
